What does the OKX welcome bonus include?

How the mystery box works, and the “60,000 USDT” claim
The new user mystery box normally has two requirements: identity verification and a first deposit (the minimum is set by the campaign). Once both are done, open it in the Rewards Hub.
About “up to 60,000 USDT”
“Up to” is the top prize tier and the odds are very low. Most boxes contain a few USDT or a fee voucher. Treat it as a welcome gift, not the reason to sign up.
Recent official campaigns
In September 2026 the official OKX site ran a new user campaign advertising up to 151.66 USDT across verification, first deposit and trading tasks. Campaigns change often; what you see in the Rewards Hub at sign-up is what applies.
Anyone asking you to send crypto to “unlock” a box or “activate” a reward is not OKX. Official rewards are only claimed inside the Rewards Hub.
Which new user tasks should you do?
- Verify your identity on the day you sign up. Many rewards depend on it.
- Make a first deposit via Buy Crypto, P2P or an on-chain transfer.
- Place a first spot trade, for example buy a little BTC with USDT.
- Try Earn or a recurring buy with part of your USDT.
- Volume tasks reward trading over 7 or 30 days. Don't trade more than you normally would just to hit a target.
Tasks usually expire 7 to 30 days after sign-up, so do the first three early.
How to use trial funds, fee vouchers and boost vouchers
Trial funds
Trial funds work only in specific products (for example futures). The principal can't be withdrawn; only profits made under the rules may be credited. Great for practice, but don't build a habit of oversized positions.
Fee vouchers
Applied automatically to trading fees, with a face value and an expiry date. Find them under Vouchers.
Earn boost vouchers
Add extra yield on Simple Earn within a cap and time limit. A good match for idle USDT.
Every voucher expires. Check the expiry date and eligible products after claiming.
Mystery box missing? Six common reasons
- Verification incomplete: ID or face check not approved.
- Deposit too small: below the campaign minimum, or funds arrived by internal transfer that doesn't count.
- Task expired: completed after the campaign window.
- Region not eligible: some campaigns are limited to certain countries.
- Not a new user: the same identity or device was used for another account.
- Campaign changed: campaigns rotate; the Rewards Hub shows what applies now.

01Where do I open the OKX mystery box?
In the OKX app, go to the Rewards Hub from the home screen or your profile. The web entry may be named differently.
02Can I withdraw what I win?
Crypto from the box is credited to your account and can usually be traded or withdrawn. Vouchers and trial funds follow their own terms.
03How long do I have to finish tasks?
Usually 7 to 30 days after sign-up, depending on the campaign. Verify and deposit on day one.
04Can I open the box without depositing?
Most mystery boxes require a first deposit; some verification rewards only need identity verification. Check the current campaign.
05Can I open multiple accounts for more rewards?
No. One identity can verify only one account. Duplicate accounts don't get extra rewards and may trigger risk controls.
06Is the box different with an invite link?
No. The invite link only adds the lifetime 20% fee discount. The mystery box is the same.
